McTimoney Chiropractor & Emmett Technique Practitioner
Combining therapies to help people and small animals
My Story
Almost 40 years ago I was introduced to McTimoney Chiropractic for animals, the results seemed to me near miraculous and pretty soon the local McTimoney practitioner became a familiar face on our Norfolk farm – treating thoroughbreds, pedigree cattle, my adored Golden Guernsey goats, and a standing population of around 20 working bred Irish Red & White Setters – not to speak of the odd cat and even a ewe or two!
For very many years I harboured a secret wish to provide the sort of help for other people’s small animals and goats that the Chiropractors who had cared for my animals had afforded them. However, at that time in my life, 5 years training to become a Chiropractor treating people before I could go on to train to ‘do’ small animals was, for me, a hurdle too much. Eventually my Veterinary Surgeon and Homeopath, Sue Armstrong, persuaded me to “go for it”.
After the required 7 years training I discovered that Sue was right … it is indeed a very great privilege to be able to treat both people and animals, an unlooked for delight, and I love it!
